No Mother Of The Year Award

I feel horrible! Tonight Kamryn wanted to help mommy take Christmas lights down. So I thought, no big deal she can sit on the chair while I climb on the counters to get them down. Well, she moved to quickly and fell off the chair right on top of her toy that she was holding onto. Obviously she started screaming and then came the blood! Lots of blood, I freaked out and Ken came running into the kitchen. He helped take care of Kamryn as I just kind of stood there shocked.

I feel like the worst mom ever. How could I let my princess get hurt like that?

After the fact, I took some pictures. As badly as I feel I still have to scrap it. (Is that wrong?) Anyways, for those of you that will read this and see her in church tomorrow, you will know why she has a fat lip.

Sorry pumpkin, mommy loves you more then life itself and I would never hurt you on purpose!! XXX OOO

Of course you have to scrap it - the good times AND the real moments! Don't feel bad, Jen.

Did Kamryn have her hair trimmed? It looks adorable!

Of course you scrap it. It's life isn't it. Don't beat yourself up, just imagine if you had a boy who had no fear and climbed everything and then took things apart as well. Ask mom, she knows.

Aww! She looks so sad with her fat lip. But it is life. We have all done something or somethings that we aren't proud of. It is okay, you are human to feel guilty. Trust me I am feeling guilty to our decision. But then I remember she is in a better place. Don't worry Kamryn will look at these pictures in years to come and ask you what happened. Then it will be fine. She won't remember it. It might make her not stand on things or make her to sit still. You never know. Talk to you later!

Ummmmm....welcome to toddlerhood! K still has a nice bruise from her digger at Good Company. It happens. A few months (and more bumps/bruises from now) and you won't even think twice about it. I'll hand over my "MOTY" (Mother of the year) Crown whenever you want it back. Ha ha ha. ;)

Don't beat yourself up. Accidents happen! I think we all know that you are a devoted mommy!

We have pics of my brother when he was little. He had spider bites on his cheek up by his eye. It was all swollen and bruised - it looked like somone took a baseball bat to his face!!
