Update on both of my babies

Kamryn is doing better today, last night was rough. She still has a nasty cough with a running nose. But she is playing a little more today and being sassy, so she must be feeling better! We made daddy sleep on the couch last night so I could have both of my babies with me last night. Our queen bed isn't big enough for four of us!

Anyways, I just got a call from Gunner's surgeon and he is just waking up from surgery. The dr said the hernia and calsification (sp?) was actually a little worse than he had thought, so he is sure that this was the problem. He is now just waiting for Gunner to fully wake up so he can make sure neuroligically Gunner is back to his old self if not better and hopefully no worse. And only time will tell!

Please keep Kamryn and Gunner in your prayers!

Share the Love

Kamryn had her Dr appt today and was diagnosed with RSV as well. Thanks alot Becky!! Just kidding, nothing a little cuddle time can't handle. Kamryn is pretty miserable today, clingy, whiny and just wants her mommy! So that is what she will get!

Other than that she is healthy. 74% for weight, 90% for height and 94% for her head.

Dr is very happy with her development and says she is acting like an 18month old! Tell me about it with her temper tantrums!

Anyways, I gotta go take care of a sick little girl.

Kamryn and Daniel

Kam trying to clip her toenails!

Kamryn on her bike we got her from Christmas!

Kam and Kaden on the steps eating popsicles!

Nothing really happening the last couple of days. Kamryn has her 15 month checkup tomorrow, so I will let you all know how that went. Shots are never fun! But only two.

The pictures above are from the last couple of days.

I am watching Daniel who lives up the street because his mom got a new job. He is good kid and keeps Kamryn occupied. I only have him in the afternoons which is nice so Kamryn and I still have "our" time. I am only watching for 3-6 weeks since his moms job is only temporary. Anyways, I will start watching the neighbors little girl Marissa next week Thursday. I will have her until Becky brings Isaiah and Mallory back in April. I'm not sure how I got so many kids all of sudden! :-) I enjoy helping out others. Especially when the kids that I watch are good kids!

Janell and Kaden came up on Friday to drop Rocket off with his new owner. So they hung out up here for awhile which is always fun.

Ken taught Kamryn what her toenails are so she is now fascinated with them! So today when she got up from a nap she took her nail clipper and pretended to cut them. She thought it was pretty funny.

Write more tomorrow!

Our First Baby

As some of you already know that Gunner had a CT Scan today because he has been having pain in his neck where he couldn't even lift if up and his occasional limp in his right front leg. We finally took him to an orthopedic specialist and got some answers.

He does in fact have a herniated (bulging) disk and it will require surgery to make him free of pain and furthur injury.

We are hoping to get him in for surgery on Wednesday before I leave for my scrapbooking retreat on Friday. I am hoping surgery goes great and I can be "worry free" on the retreat. Is there such a thing? Not in my life!

Anyways, this is going to cost us a lot of money, but for Ken and I it is worth it. Gunner is worth it. We are going to need to make sacrifices, but Gunner would do anything for us and has been our best friend for the last 6 years and we owe it to him to make him comfortable and happy for as long as we can. As Ken has told me and his family Gunner is young and we aren't ready to let him go yet. Will we ever be? I'm not sure, but we will cross that bridge when we get there. Right now, we are trying to take it one day at a time.

Please pray for us and for Gunner. That the surgery goes great and that he will be back to his playful self in no time!

I'm scared to death, but I have to trust that the dr's know what they are doing. And pray that God will be with them as they do this delicate surgery.

Happy Birtday!

We went back to Mayville this weekend for Kaden's birthday party. I can't believe he is 2 years old already. Time flies! He was in a really good mood and showing us all his moves. You ask him what a pig says and he schrunches his nose and snorts. It is the funniest thing. And he thinks he's pretty cool when he does it as well.

We then had a last christmas party on Ken's side of the family. It's always nice to get together after the holidays after the "rush" of Christmas is over and everyone is more relaxed.

I hope you enjoy all the pictures I have posted. As you will be able to see, Kamryn thought it was her birthday as well and had to help Kaden open his presents. Kaden, thank you for letting Kamryn help you!

We had a great weekend!

Visit with Mallory

Here is a picture of our visit with Mallory at the hospital. Isn't she a doll?! As most of you know our good friends Becky and Pastor Tim had a beautiful baby girl on Thursday morning. Isaiah is now a big brother!

We are so happy for them and wish them nothing but the best for many happy years together as their family is now complete!

Best Friends

I wanted to post this, but forgot and Becky reminded me last night to blog about this.

The other day when I was watching Isaiah (before Mallory made her appearance)Isaiah was down for a nap. He sleeps in our family room in a pack n play. Kamryn already was up from her nap. (Lucky Me) I gave her a popsicle so I could get dishes done. A little while later it was awfully quiet so I went to check on her. She wasn't in the living room, or upstairs in her room or our bedroom. So I looked downstairs in her playroom and wouldn't you know it she was sitting next to the pack n play eating her popsicle and patiently waiting for Isaiah to get up!

It was the cutiest thing ever! I'm not sure why I didn't run upstairs and grab my camera, but I didn't. Anyways, you will have to take my word for it. It was simply adorable.

Kamryn and Isaiah have become such good friends. They don't share very well together and I think Kamryn gets on Isaiah's nerves once in awhile, but she's a girl. Isaiah you better get used to it, us women always get on guys nerves! It's part of life! lol

To think that I may not be watching Isaiah and Mallory if we do decide to move breaks my heart! Not only am I going to miss them, but I truly think Kamryn is going to miss Isaiah. :`-(

Anyways, enough of my sob story!

Have a good day. Bundle up this week it is suppose to be frigid!

The Look

Kamryn's new thing is what we like to call "The Look". When she doesn't like something you did or just to make us laugh she gives us the look. It is so cute, I just had to post it!

No Mother Of The Year Award

I feel horrible! Tonight Kamryn wanted to help mommy take Christmas lights down. So I thought, no big deal she can sit on the chair while I climb on the counters to get them down. Well, she moved to quickly and fell off the chair right on top of her toy that she was holding onto. Obviously she started screaming and then came the blood! Lots of blood, I freaked out and Ken came running into the kitchen. He helped take care of Kamryn as I just kind of stood there shocked.

I feel like the worst mom ever. How could I let my princess get hurt like that?

After the fact, I took some pictures. As badly as I feel I still have to scrap it. (Is that wrong?) Anyways, for those of you that will read this and see her in church tomorrow, you will know why she has a fat lip.

Sorry pumpkin, mommy loves you more then life itself and I would never hurt you on purpose!! XXX OOO
