More Christmas Pictures

It's Over

Christmas is over can you believe it? I sure can't. It was a very nice Christmas though. Lots of time with family!

Kamryn got spoiled which is just what I hoped for! She has a lot of dollies which she loves everyone of them! As I write this she has one of them in her arms.

I have a lot of pictures as well, so I may need to do more then one post.

As many of you know I got a Cricut for Christmas!!!! I am so very very excited. I have already tried it out and I Love It! I also got a peacoat which I had wanted for a long time. My mom and dad got me the case of the Cricut which will make carrying it much easier! They also got me a disk to go in the Cricut. Ok, so maybe I got a little spoiled as well! :-)

We got so much stuff and seen so many people I'm not even going to write about all of it, but just that it was very nice!

For New Year's we are going over to one of our friends homes for a wild game feast. Yummy! I sure hope McDonald's is open................

Happy New Year to each and everyone of you! I hope the New Year brings new and exciting adventures to all of us! Pray for our troops who can't be with their families.

Coooooookies!

Tonight we finished our Christmas cookies! Kamryn of course "helped" with them and she had a blast! I hope to make this a family tradition with her as I had this tradition with my mom, dad and sister. Ken helped as well which I really appreciate.

Today was so cold and nasty out it was nice to get some house cleaning done and cookies made. Tomorrow I hope to clean the rest of the house so that on Tuesday when I have Isaiah I can just have fun with the kids!

I can't believe Christmas is Wednesday! YIKES............ I am very much looking forward to spending time with family. We leave Wednesday and don't plan on returning to Appleton until Sunday. I am sure I will be well ready by then to be back home in my own bed.

Merry Christmas everyone! And may God bless everyone of you now and in the new year.

Melting Pot

Last night a couple girls from our church playgroup went to the Melting Pot because on Thursdays they have Ladies Night and you can get cheese fondue, salad and chocolate fondue for $15.00.

It was a very enjoyable evening. We laughed a lot! Ok, I laughed harder than I had laughed in a really long time. It was nice.

The meal itself was very good we got Beer Cheese and Spinach and Artichoke Cheese. Both cheeses were excellent. Then salad. (which was ok) On to chocolate! We got flaming turtle and peanut butter something. Again both were very good! However, honestly I wouldn't pay full price for the meal. Don't get me wrong it was delicious and I was overly full, but nothing I would pay $50.00 for.

It was a very enjoyable evening and I hope to do it again.

Today is a snow day so I don't have Isaiah. Kamryn always misses Isaiah when he's not here, because she gets bored with mommy!

Stay warm everyone! More snow on the way for the weekend! YIPEE............

The Big 30!

Today a great dad and husband turns "30" today! Happy Birthday Honey! Or Happy Bertday as Kaden says.......

Unfortunetly, it's not such a happy day. Ken has caught the flu bug. He has been throwing up since about 1am this morning and it coming out of both ends. (Like the graphics?) I feel so bad for him. And the worst part is there is nothing I can do to make it go away.

Kamryn had the bug on Saturday, Ken on Sunday/Monday, am I next???? I hope not!
But if that's the case, get it over with so I am not sick over Christmas. That would not be good!

We were suppose to go out to dinner tonight, I guess that's not happening. So maybe later this week.

Wednesday we are suppose to get 6 inches of snow again! When will it stop??!?!?!?

Well, try to stay warm, it is nasty cold out.

Sorry no pictures, I didn't think it would be right to take a picture of Ken in bed with his bucket.

I LOVE YOU HONEY! Get better soon.

Dannce the Night Away

This weekend was Travis and Jaimes wedding. However, Saturday morning Kamryn woke up puking! So Kamryn and I didn't make the wedding. :-( But by late afternoon she seemed to be doing better so I took her to the dinner and dance. She wasn't completly herself, but she had fun I think. I have some pictures to prove it. The little boy in the picture is not related, but he found Kamryn attractive and wouldn't leave her sight. It was a nice reception and dinner.

That is all I've got for ya! Kamryn is feeling better and hopefully none of us get it. I did feel a little crummy on Friday night, but didn't throw up so maybe I had a little bit of whatever is going around. Who knows!

Who is this Santa Guy?

Daddy, Kamryn and I went to see Santa tonight at the mall. She didn't cry! Although, it did seem as though she wanted to because she certainly didn't smile.

I also took some pictures of Kamryn in the snow on Tuesday.

I won't be blogging tomorrow or the weekend as we will be back home for Travis and Jaime's wedding. I will try to get some pictures of Kamryn busting a move on the dance floor!

One More Picture

Doesn't the t-shirt say it all? Ken's mom got this for Kamryn!

This past weekend

This past weekend we went home because my dad shot a deer and Ken wanted to meat. So anyways, it was a very very nice weekend. Friday night Kamryn and I spent the night by my parents which was fun. They were also watching Kaden for awhile so Kamryn and Kaden got to play. It is so fun to watch, they fight like brother and sister because they are so close in age. Saturday afternoon we then went over to Kens parents so they could spend time with her as well. We helped Grandma Puls put on Christmas decorations and put the lights and ornaments on the tree. Kamryn tried to help put ornaments up, but basically just set them inside the tree. :-)

Saturday night Ken's mom and I went to West Bend to get the last of what she needed for Christmas Decorations. We were home about 9:30pm to find Kamryn and Ken sleeping on the recliner together. It was soooooo cute!

Sunday we came home! Now this weekend we have Travis' Wedding that Ken is usher for so we will be traveling home late afternoon to be home for rehearsal. My parents wanted to watch Kamryn for that since they won't see her the rest of the weekend. Which will be nice for Ken and I.

Today we are just watching the snow keep coming! It is nasty windy out. The drifts are huge! If anybody follows Becky's blog she will be posting pictures. I'm to lazy to go outside and take pictures! :-)

Stay warm!

I forgot to mention Kamryn absolutely loves dollies!! Also, my MIL showed her how to dip her chicken nuggets and fries into Sweet N Sour sauce from McD's and now she LOVES IT! Has to dip everything into sauce. What a silly girl. It doesn't take her long to catch onto things. More pictures to follow.

Oh Christmas Tree

Today was pretty productive. I didn't go to playgroup because the roads were just to nasty! So I stayed home and got some more christmas decorations up. I have just a few more things to get up and I will be all done. I am also almost done with Christmas cards as well. WOW did I have a lot for some reason this year. Just family was well over 40!

Anyways, here are some pictures from Kamryn being silly last night down in the basement as Ken and I tried to reorganize that! What a mess.........
And also some pictures of my decorations!

Tonight we were going to church but because of the weather we are debating that as well. :-( I love advent services, the songs are always so good!

Take care.

Sniffles

Today has been pretty crummy. Kamryn has had a cold for about 2 weeks now, but it has gotten worse with a snotty nose, congested, coughing. YUCKY! Last night it was the worst, she got up at about 3am and didn't go back down until 5ish. She didn't want to be laid down, didn't want to play her toys, didn't want to be held. Just miserable.

So today I took her to the Dr, because I didn't want another night like last night. So I didn't see her primary, but saw the NP who was very very nice. She said Kamryn's ears looked GREAT. But she gave her an anti-biotic for her stuffy nose that she thinks maybe due to a sinus infection. However, teething could be the culprit as well. She wasn't real sure, but didn't want to take any chances which I appreciated. So 10 days of meds and hopefully Kamryn will be ready for Christmas!

Kamryn is napping now as so should I be as I am exhausted. How did I survive when she was tiny and getting up 100 times a night?!?!

Have a good night!

Lots of things!

Well lets start at the Christmas Parade in Appleton which Kamryn absolutely loved! Ken, Kamryn and myself went on I believe it was Tuesday. See what you get when you don't blog daily?!? Anyways, we were a bit skeptical about how long Kamryn would sit to watch people and things pass by, but she loved it! Her favorite were the bands that played Christmas music. She bounced away! It was a lot of fun and we will be making that a family tradition. The pictures came out a bit blurry because they were moving, but I hope you get the drift!

Wednesday night we went home to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. It was very nice. Thursday/Friday and midnight my MIL and I went to the Oshkosh Outlet mall because they opened at midnight, then went back to FDL to get the rest of our items. We were home and all shopped out by 8am. What some great deals! My MIL got me the CRICUT for Christmas! I am sooooooo excited. It was $99 at JoAnn Fabric.

We came home last night in preparation for the snow storm that turned out to be not that bad. We were expecting 8-11 inches of snow and I think we got 3-4inches. I feel bad because Ken was hunting down in Sun Prairie with his cousin and having a good time and I made him come home so that we could get up to Appleton before the big storm hit. And Sun Prairie got only 1-2 inches. But I guess it's better to be safe then sorry!

Today I am going to be getting my Christmas decorations out and put the Fall decorations away. I love Christmas! Tonight I might go to scrap n craft at church depending on the weather conditions.

This weekend we are going home again so Ken can go back to Sun Prairie and finish his hunting! I plan on spending most of this weekend by my parents because they didn't see Kamryn a lot this weekend. Have to be fair.

Anyways, try to stay warm!

What a Weekend

This weekend was a lot of fun! Friday night Janell and Kaden came up to spend the night since on Saturday morning we were going to be going shopping. It was a lot of fun to hang out with them and since they never spent the night at our house it was nice to be able to spend an entire night with them.

Saturday we went shopping at the Once Upon A Child store with Becky and found lots of nice clothes. We then went to Good Will, didn't find a lot there, and then last but not least we went to Sam's to get some things.

We also unfortunetly got some bad news. Our good friends Adam and Carly were expecting there third child in March and on Friday she lost the baby. It was a little girl that they named McKayla. Please keep their family in your prayers.

Saturday night Ken and I just hung out at home. Sunday we went to church and I went to bible study. Then Sunday afternoon Becky watched Kamryn so we could get some Christmas shopping done. And lo and behold we have all Christmas presents bought except for Kamryn! Thank you so much Becky for watching Kamryn. She always has so much fun with you.

Today I am getting my haircut and Jodie is watching Kamryn. It is so nice to have friends that I trust and that Kamryn likes to watch her when needed. It's like having family here.

Since we got snow last night, I bundled Kamryn up in her snowpants and jacket, hat and gloves to go play in it since she has never seen snow before. (Last year she was obviously too little.) She didn't much like it. She walked through it fell a couple of times and I think her gloves got went and then her hands got wet and she wanted to be picked up and go inside. Maybe she will have more fun when I can build snowmen etc with her as well as get a sled to go sledding. Who knows!

Have a great day! Enjoy the beautiful snow!

Scary News

Tonight Ken came home and we had our normal discussion about how his day went. And normally his response is alright, but tonight it was "shitty". I asked why he said because he had a mandatory meeting letting people know that Miller Electric is firing as well as laying off a bunch of workers due to the economy. Fortunetly, it wasn't him yet, but some of the guys that have been there 20-30 years got fired some of which Ken knows. A bunch of factory workers got laid off as well.

Ken still isn't out of the woods, it's just the first round of layoffs etc. Please keep our family in your prayers!

Just always keep in mind that you are not indispensible! Never take for granite what you have.

Have a good night.

Just Chillin

As Kamryn's shirt says that is all that we have been doing! Yesterday, Ken went duck hunting in the morning and then was home all day. So lucky for him I volunteered him to help me put up the Christmas lights outside. I normally wait until after Thanksgiving, but since he was home and it wasn't terribly cold I thought it would be a good idea to do it. We usually go pretty simple so our electric bill doesn't sky rocket, but it looks nice.

This past weekend we went home so Ken could duck hunt some more. (can you tell what time of year it is.............) But we had fun, Grandma and Grandpa never complain about us coming home to often! :-) Saturday, went over to Janell's to get my parents Christmas present done which is a photo album from Snapfish of Kaden and Kamryn from this year. I think they are really going to like it! I'm excited!! Sunday Ken's mom, Kamryn and myself went shopping for a Christmas/Wedding outfit and found an adorable one at Kohl's. Thank you grandma! We had a good time, but it proved to us that Kamryn IS NOT coming with us the day after Thanksgiving! She gets to be a bear if she doesn't get to walk and she dawddles (spelling)

This weekend we are finally staying home before heading back for Thanksgiving!

That is the past week in a nutshell.

Ta ta for now!

Haircut Pictures

Soooooooooo you really can't tell she got a haircut and I guess I didn't expect to, but it is at least all even now so when it does start growing more it will be a cute bob!

Kamryn did really good, didn't cry but towards the end it looked like she might!

I'm Excited!

Ok, so I haven't been keeping up with my blog, I'm sorry! But I do have some exciting news!

NO, I'm not pregnant!! Geesh!

Anyways, I found out this past weekend that I will be going on a scrapbooking retreat at the end of January! It is is Eau Claire and my good friend Colette and my sister are going as well as a bunch of other people from my Close to My Heart Consultants group. I am very very excited. I hope to get all caught up with Kamryn's scrapbook! (wishful thinking, I think) I am not looking forward to leaving Kamryn for the weekend, but I know I have to do this. It is going to be good for both of us. I am hoping she will become a "daddy's girl" over the weekend.

In other news, Kamryn gets her FIRST HAIRCUT tonight! I am taking her to Snips N Giggles. It is a bit more expensive, but for her first one she gets her picture taken as if I won't have my camera along, SERIOUSLY! And also a "diploma" type deal. So I am excited for that as well.

I will post pictures either tonight or tomorrow of her new haircut. I guess I should take a before and after shot huh? I will get on that.

Have a good day!

It's A Girl!

Mark and Sandra are the proud new parents of a baby girl!! Marissa is her name. 7lbs some ounces sorry, I don't have the exact info. Born at 9 something last night.

Mark came over a little while ago to share the news! He said he can't believe that after seeing something like birth that anybody doesn't believe it God, because it is truly a miracle! Isn't that the truth? The miracle of life is something so wonderful.

Congrats Mark and Sandra!

Kamryn now has a new little girl to play with!!

Trick or Treat Smell My Feet

We have had another busy last couple of days! With trick or treating in Appleton on Friday and Trunk or Treat at church on Saturday, Kamryn is ladybugged out! But gosh darn it she makes a cute ladybug!

Thursday Kamryn and I went over to play with Isaiah and Becky. I got some scrapbook pages done which isn't even close to being all done (just ask Becky and Jodie) I think I am going to have to just scrap as much as I can and then put the rest in just a plain photo album. The second kid will be here and graduated from college before I am even done with Kamryn's book! Yes, it is that bad!!! I can't help it, I love taking pictures!

So Friday Becky, Tim and Isaiah came over to trick or treat in our neighborhood since it is less busy then Kensington is. We had a lot of fun! The kids rode in the wagon while Tim pulled them after they got tired of walking (which wasn't long), but I think they had a good time none the less. Isaiah was a darn cute dalmation as well!

Today we had trunk or treat at church, that was a good time as well. Lots of kids showed up and it got rid of the majority of our candy which was a good thing! Hello Gold's Gym all next week! (Except Tuesday, I work)

Which reminds me, I put in my two week notice at Michael's this past week. I liked working there, but I hated being away from Kamryn and Ken. (mostly Kamryn!:-) ) But not having my weekends to do with what I want and then after babysitting Isaiah and soon the new baby, it's going to be to much! So we are going to have to manage down a paycheck, but we should be fine.

Anyways, so next Saturday is another all day scrap with Colette that I am going to go to so hopefully I will get even more done! And I won't have Kamryn so I can be more productive.

Our good friends and neighbors Mark and Sandra, they were at Kamryn's birthday party if you were there. Sandra went into labor this morning and had us come over to put the carseat in. Ken did that with Mark while I helped Sandra pack her bag and the babies bag. She wasn't due until the 10th, but they procrastnate (spelling) and had none of these things done! :-) I on the other hand had my bags back 3 months ahead of time! lol So pray for them and the baby and hopefully everything will be fine and she will have a happy healthy baby!!! Kamryn will have another friend to play with!

Here are some pictures from trick or treating here in Appleton!

Have a great weekend!

Halloween and Birthday Pictures

We have had a busy busy weekend. Kamryn's birthday party on Saturday and Trick or Treating in Mayville on Sunday! Kamryn's birthday party was a lot of fun, she did great. The cake took her a bit, but as you can see in the pictures she warmed up quite quickly. She got a lot of nice gifts that she loves to play with! Spending time with family and friends is always nice.

Sunday trick or treating. Kamryn was a ladybug. And a darn cute ladybug at that!

This week we are just hanging out since it is chilly outside. Not much else going on so I guess just enjoy the pictures! Oh, we did take some pictures of Kamryn at the Children's Museum on her birthday so I will post a couple of those as well. I may do two different entries since I have a couple pictures!
