Strawberry Heaven

Kam and I went home on Sunday to see Grandpa Zastrow since he is now on night shift and doesn't get to see Kamryn anymore unless by chance he would have a night off until October. So I am making it a point to go home a little more often then normal just so he can see his Tweety Bird! His face just lights up when he sees her, it is to precious to have him miss out on that. On Monday morning Janell, Kaden, my mom and I went to pick strawberries at my uncles strawberry patch. They were excellent! I am hoping Becky, Tanya and a couple other girls from church can go pick some before Tanya leaves. :-( We'll miss you Tanya!!!
On a happier note, I am going to the Dr tonight because I have a sore throat and no voice. Ken is worried I may have strep and wants me to get it checked out. So that is my night.

Tomorrow Colette and I are going to go see Sex In The City.....can't wait, I heard it is suppose to be awesome!

Here are some pics from this weekend. I think they can explain themselves. Have a wonderful evening!

Enjoying Summer

These are just a couple pictures from the last couple of days. As you can see we've been enjoying the nice weather. Yesterday Janell and Kaden came up to swim. That was fun, however, Kaden was not a fan. He was fussy and just not enjoying himself. Maybe he will come up again and we can plan around his nap time so he will have lots more fun. Kamryn loved it again! Squealed wih laughter. I am glad we are planning on going to the pool on at least a weekly basis. Today we finally stayed home. Tomorrow we have a birthday party in the morning for Riley who I used to babysit for, then in the afternoon we have a party to go to in Freedom with a bunch of people I used to work with. So it should be a fun filled weekend. Till next time, ta ta.

Day at the Movies

Today we went to the movies with a bunch of girlfriends and their little ones. Movies are free on Wednesdays so what the heck. We seen Mr. Magoo something or other. It was a really cute movie. Kamryn did exceptionally well. I was concerned how she would do, but apparently with some snacks and juice she does just fine! Next week we are seeing the Bee Movie, looking forward to seeing that.

My sister maybe coming up with Kaden tomorrow to go swimming and hang out up here, so I am looking forward to that.

Tonight we are just going to hang out and hopefully stay cool. I have to get Ken to blow up Kamryn's pool since the air came out of it so she can go swimming tomorrow if we don't go to Mead Pool.

Stay cool~

Dog Days of Summer

What a great day! This morning we went to the park with our playgroup which was a lot of fun as usual. Then Tanya and I decided today would be a great day to go to the pool. So we called Becky and Isaiah and had them meet us at the pool. It was great! Kathleen jumped right in rarin to go! It took Kamryn and Isaiah awhile to warm up, but after that they had a blast. Tomorrow we are going to the free movie at Regal so another fun day in store. Cleaning can wait the summer goes by way to fast and Kamryn isn't getting any younger. 'Till tomorrow.........

Apple a day Keeps the Dr Away

Apparently Kamryn hasn't been eating her apples. I took her to the doctor today because she was unbearable. She was crying, tugging at her ears and not nursing well at all. We seen the NP at Thedacare and she said her ears look great, but her throat was very red, so red in fact they wanted to do a strep test just to make sure it wasn't strep. Thank goodness it wasn't. She also has a rash on her legs, a little on her face and arms that the dr said was probably all related back to the virus going on in her mouth as well as teething. She told us to give her Tylenol, Motrin for her symptoms and Bendryl for the rash. If she's not better in a week or so it's back to the dr again. Hopefully she will be back to her smiley self soon! I MISS HER! She is napping now, hopefully sleeping off the virus. Lots of cuddle time tonight~

Catch Up

It has been a busy weekend, but it was also fun. We went back "home" on Friday afternoon for my cousins graduation on Saturday. I can't believe Trevor graduated high school. My god I babysat him when he was a baby. I guess I'm getting old. :-( It was of course really nice to see all my family again. They were so happy to see Kamryn as most of them don't get to see her and for some it was their first time seeing her. Kamryn did good for as hot and sticky as it was. Unfortunetly I didn't get to spend a lot of time with Janell and Kaden because they came to graduation late cause Kaden was napping. I was bummed about that, we always have so much fun together and usually laugh a lot as well.

We came home Saturday night because we wanted to make it to church on Sunday for outdoor service. It was sooooo nice! I want outdoor serivce every Sunday. It was casual and Kamryn LOVED it! She was such a good girl. Then we came home and played outside and she helped me water my flowers as you can see in the picture.

We were going to grill out tonight, but it's raining right now so I'm not so sure if that is going to happen. We will have to see!

Crabby Patty

Today was not a good day. Kamryn has not napped very well and that doesn't make for a very happy baby or mommy for that matter. She has finally been napping for about an hour now so hopefully when she gets up she will be in a better mood. I hope this teething thing ends soon. (Please she only has two teeth, but it's wishful thinking anyways). We tried to play in her swimming pool today and even that didn't make her happy. Whatta do?

Tonight I am going to try and tidy things up around the house as we leave to go back "home" tomorrow for my cousin's graduation party on Saturday. Then we are heading back home Saturday late afternoon because we want to attend the outdoor service on Sunday at church.

And from my post yesterday, Kaye's mother passed away yesterday afternoon. Please keep her and the family in your prayers during this difficult time. Thank you!

Busy Busy Bee

Today is going to be a busy day, so I thought I would write early. I am babysitting for the neighbor up the road from us because unfortunetly her mother is dying and she wants to spend her last days/hours with her. Please keep Kaye and her family in your prayers.

So we will be going for a walk today and to the park and just enjoying the beautiful day we are suppose to have.

Ken is going fishing tonight so it's just Kamryn, Gunner and myself. Wonder what we will do????

OH! Kamryn has learned how to pull up on things now, so that is been fun watching as she figures her balance out. I will try and grab a picture of her doing this new stunt!

Well I better get some stuff done before the kids come!

Rough Start

Well today started out lovely! Kamryn and I were suppose to go the our church playgroup, however, I locked my keys in my car! And that is the only vehicle that has a carseat. GRRRRRRRR! So I had to call Ken and he then needed to find a place to make a set of keys for the car. Thank goodness Bergstrom does, which cost a heck of a lot less than calling a keysmith! Thank you honey! I now have learned my lesson, one set of keys stays in the house for times like this.

So we are just going to spend the day at home now getting stuff done. Hopefully next Tuesday will be less eventful and we can make it to playgroup.

Shopping

We went to the Oshkosh Outlet Mall today with Janell and Kaden. It was a little chilly, but that was actually nice when you are trying on a bunch of clothes and going in and out of stores. Our main store was Maurices which is where Janell and I spent most of our money. We also went to Carters which has 70% off a lot of stuff, we found some nice things there. Janell also went to Oshkosh B'Gosh and found some good deals for Kaden as well. We then went to Red Robin for lunch. It was a very nice day with my sister, we always have lots of laughs when we are together that's forsure!

Well Kamryn is having a meltdown so tomorrow is another day! Goodnight.

Father's Day Weekend

What a busy weekend we had! Saturday my mom and dad, Janell, Bill and Kaden came up to celebrate Father's Day. We had such a nice time. The weather was beautiful! We set up the pool for Kamryn and Kaden to play in, however, Kaden was the only one interested, but he had a blast, no swimsuit needed he just played with his clothes on! He is such a little ham, love him to pieces. Kamryn loved seeing everyone again so much so that they wore her out and she took a two hour nap. We ordered out from KFC because that is my dad's favorite place to eat. However, we all snacked so much throughout the day we weren't all that hungry. Go figure! The day went by way to fast.
Today was Ken's first Father's Day. And I think he really liked his present. I got him a pair of camo crocs that he wanted and Kamryn put her handprints on a piece of paper followed by a poem about how her handprints are small right now, but soon they won't be and daddy will miss them. He is going to take it to work and put it on his desk! We also went out to Cold Stone for Ken's free ice cream. We met Becky, Tim and Isaiah there and had ice cream with them. It was very nice! We always have a good time together. When Kamryn gets up from her nap which she has yet to take we are going to go for a walk in her new wagon that Grandma and Grandpa Puls got for her. Well I think that is about it for this weekend. Tomorrow we are going to the Outlet Mall in Oshkosh with Janell and Kaden. We are really looking forward to it. I need summer clothes BAD! And of course, I'm sure Kamryn will get some things as well. Like she needs it! But hey, sales are sales! :-) Ta Ta for now!

Yummy Spagetti

Last night Kamryn tried her first number three baby food which was Spagetti and meatballs! She wasn't a big fan, but loved trying to feed herself. As you can see from the picture she wasn't very successful, but she wanted to try so what the heck. Needless to say tubby time soon followed.

She is teething pretty bad again and is chopping down on anything. Right now she is trying to bite the beak off of her blow up rubber ducky!

She is using the pan cover as a teething ring!

Rain Rain Go Away

Today Kamryn, Gunner and I went for a very short walk before we started to feel rain drops hit our heads. Thankfully we got home just in time before it really started raining!

The rest of today will consist of trying to clean the house and chase after Kamryn. Sounds like fun huh? The chasing after Kamryn part does, but everything else not so much!

Stay dry!

Father's Day Coming

Today is pretty exciting, Kamryn finished her first father's day gift for her daddy! I can't tell you what it is just yet, incase Ken reads this. But we are pretty excited about it. Okay, I'm excited about it, I think Kamryn couldn't care less. :-)

My mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law and nephew maybe visiting on Saturday to celebrate father's day. I am really looking forward to seeing them. I miss them so much! Kaden beats up on Kamryn a little bit, but now that she's crawling she will be able to defend herself! Watch out Kaden!

We are going to go outside and enjoy the nice weather today since tomorrow it is suppose to rain some more!

Swimsuit Model

Need I say more?

Fun in the sun

Kamryn had a busy day today. This morning we went to the park and played with her friend Isaiah. Then we went out to Noodles with Kim (it was fabulous). We then came home and Kamryn got to try out her very first pool that Grandma Puls got her. Doesn't she look adorable in her swimsuit?? She absolutely loved the pool. It was a bit cool yet so she didn't get to play long, but she had a blast. Can't wait until it gets warmer so we can play with it more. We have to get some swimming toys! Maybe Isaiah and Kaden can come and play in it! How fun.

Fun at the park

Kamryn and I went to the park today with our church playgroup. She always has so much fun with her friend Isaiah!

Monday Monday

Well it's Monday morning the start of yet another week. And now that Kamryn is crawling I am having a tough time getting anything done besides chasing her and making sure she doesn't kill herself! It is such a joy to watch her become her own person. I feel sorry for Gunner because she is just fascinated with him, mostly his ears and tail. Poor Guy! And he doesn't even move away, he just takes it, so I have to be referee and make sure he gets a break.

Ken finally got the tile done in our upstairs bathroom, what a difference it makes to go from carpet to tile! It's beautiful. He was a busy guy this weekend, he put a ceiling fan up in our room and finished the bathroom. He was exhausted!

Well, it's off to chase Kamryn some more.

My first post

Well it looks like I am officially blogging. I will try to keep this as up to date as possible. Right now Kamryn is down for a nap and since Becky said blogging was so much fun, I thought I would give it a try. Adding pictures will come as soon as I can figure it out!
