Look at my toes!

Kamryn is growing up right before our very eyes! I can't believe that she is going to be TWO years old in October. That is crazy. She is playing with dolls like you wouldn't believe, loves to walk in either my shoes or Ken's doesn't matter and she already has two purses that she usually doesn't leave home without at least one of them!

Being a mom truly is the best job ever!!

So today I decided to try to paint her toes. I tried painting her nails awhile back and that was a joke, but thought maybe her toes would be easier. And I was right! She wanted her toes to look like mommy's so that is what we did, minus the design on the big toe.

She sat very well and was very proud of them afterwards.

4th of July

This past weekend we went home to visit. Saturday Janell and I went to the Knowles parade with the kids. They had a really good time, Kaden more than Kamryn I guess. For some reason Kamryn was content sitting in the stroller and just getting out once in awhile to see what was coming down the road.

It was a very nice weekend all together. Got to spend time with Janell which is always fun and to see my two favorite nephews. Sawyer is getting so big already it's amazing how much he is filling out. That is when I wish I lived closer so that I could see him everyday.

We are going home again this weekend for Ethen and Seth's birthday party. It's a busy month. We will be going home again on the 25th for Sawyer's baptism. Before you know it it will be the end of August! Where do the summer's go?!?!?! I wish the winter's went by this quickly.

Anyways, here are some pictures from the parade.

Hope you all enjoyed a great 4th of July and remembered truly what that day is all about!

Kamryn seen the train and said Isaiah Train! Too Cute.

I am very proud of this picture. I plan on enlarging it and making it B & W

This was actually a remote control manikin! Crazy I know!

Snaking before the parade!

Kaden and Kamryn enjoying the parade!

Not so proud to proud

I finally took some pictures with Kamryn in her cast. Not something I am proud of as a mother, but it is part of her childhood so it is what it is.

Also, for the last couple of days Kamryn has been telling us when she has to go poop. Which means poop or potty actually, but regardless she is letting us know. This isn't consistently but at least 2-3 times a day she will say she has to go and actually go on the big girl potty! I am so very very proud of her. It is my goal to have her potty trained by her second birthday in October. However, I don't want to push her if she isn't ready, but I think she maybe if she is telling us when she has to go or at least telling us that she went and wants her diaper changed.

To imagine life without diapers for awhile before baby number 2 comes down the road would be awesome!

Just wanted to share!

This 4th of July we are going back to Mayville for a couple of days so that my dad can see his "tweety bird". He works nights at Seneca Foods so doesn't get to see his grandkids very often. So when we get the chance; we go home so he can see Kamryn for awhile before he leaves for work. Then Sunday we have a grill out at the Seabaugh's which is always fun.

Next weekend we are home again for my godson Ethen's 4th birthday party! I can't believe he is going to be 4 already. That doesn't seem possible. And his little brother Seth is going to be a 1!

Last night Kamryn and I went to youth at church for ice cream and fireworks and I just needed to comment that the night made me feel old. A couple of the youth counselors I guess we are called were talking about t.v shows that we used to watch and Bevis and Butthead got brought up and sadly none of the youth knew what we were talking about. Like never even heard of it...nothin! I used to be the teenager that didn't know what the adults were talking about when they were talking about t.v. shows etc and now I am the adult talking about shows the teenagers don't know about. That is scary stuff right there!!!! But I really enjoy being part of the youth group. To help influence the lives of young people makes me feel good.

Okay, enough already.........here are some pictures of Kamryn's arm. Sorry no pictures of her sitting on the potty. Maybe next time!
